DISCOVER THE AREA

A considerable amount of thought went into selecting the area that would house Gulf Coast Montessori Teacher Education Center. We purposefully avoided any area that would resemble an industrial location. Instead we opted for a location that would be not only family friendly but also safe to move around any time of the day.

The firm m-Architects with lead architect being Derek Webb was chosen to lead the design, planning and renovation of the new facility.

What we ended up with was a beautiful location that plays host to trees that are over 100 years old, green grass yards, and a Japanese garden designed by renown landscape architect Kaiji Asakura from Asakura-Robinson, who designed and updated the Japanese garden of Houston.
