Goldberg Montessori School (GMS), located in Houston, Texas, seeks a professional, forward-thinking, and caring Director of Education to co-lead our remarkable Jewish Montessori preschool. The Director of Education for Goldberg Montessori School is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the classroom curriculum and student programs and services. You will also be responsible for teacher observation and classroom monitoring. 

 

The Director of Education will co-lead the school with our Director of Administration. The two of you will be responsible for the general health of the school, including fiscal responsibility, school funding, school staffing, record keeping, and long-term strategic planning. Providing professional leadership to staff, supporting our parents, and providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students, families, and professionals.

Southwood Learning Center is seeking a Certified Montessori Coordinator/teacher. Primary responsibility would be as the lead for the Children’s House Primary classroom (ages 3-6).  The coordinator's responsibilities would include working with our toddler rooms to prepare and develop an authentic Montessori environment. The position is full-time or part-time (12-month and school year options available) with a start date in early August. We are seeking experienced and organized candidates who are committed to the Montessori philosophy and respect the needs of each child as a unique individual. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience working in a Montessori Primary environment. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Preparing the Children’s House environment by implementing Montessori lessons in all areas of the curriculum, facilitating parent engagement/education and conferences, and record and data management.

Education and qualifications:
